The small and compact nursing pillow is made of organic cotton and is filled with natural kapok. It supports you during pregnancy when lying down and sleeping and after birth when breastfeeding. The small nursing pillow is half-moon-shaped and has a handy size of 140 x 25 cm, which makes it a practical companion in your everyday life with a baby and is also ideal for on the go. Its compact size means that you can take it with you when you travel, in the car, plane or train, or to friends and family.

Natural kapok filling material for your small nursing pillow

The small nursing pillow is filled with natural kapok. The kapok down comes from the fruit of the kapok tree. This grows wild and does not contain any pesticides or other pollutants. After harvesting, the 25-30 cm long kapok fruits are harvested, opened and the kapok dried in the sun. The fine kapok hairs are silky and shiny and covered with a fine layer of wax, are water-repellent and cannot be spun. The kapok fibers trap a lot of air, which makes them very soft and fluffy. At the same time, the wax layer and the filling ensure that moisture is directed outwards and no moisture builds up. Before the kapok goes into the nursing pillow, it is fluffed up with air and made fluffy. Our small nursing pillow does not contain any styrofoam, EPS or polyester, does not rustle and always adapts to your needs.

Kapok also has the advantage of being self-cleaning: the fibers contain a natural bitter substance and are anti-allergenic, preventing the spread of mites. Ideal for sensitive mothers and babies. Our Minky Mooh mini nursing pillow can be used in many different ways: Even during pregnancy, it supports you when sitting, lying down and sleeping, e.g. as a side sleeper pillow. After the birth, it helps you and your baby when breastfeeding or giving a bottle by relieving the strain on your arms, shoulders and back.

Compact nursing pillow: particularly easy to care for

There are two nursing pillow covers in grey and mint for the small nursing pillow. They are finely knitted, made from 100% organic cotton and are cuddly soft and gentle on your and baby's skin. You can wash the nursing pillow covers in the washing machine at 30°C. Even after repeated washing, the fabric remains soft and cuddly. Please note, however, that you must remove the kapok before washing.

Care instructions for Kapok

The natural kapok filling of the nursing pillow must not be washed in the washing machine or with water. Otherwise, water and detergent would wash the natural wax layer out of the fibers, causing the kapok to clump and lose volume and coziness. The pillow would become unusable. The natural bitter substances that make the kapok allergy-friendly are also lost. Airing it out in the sun is enough to clean it.
Note : The kapok is natural and therefore not chemically treated. Therefore, small black dots may be visible in the wool. These are pieces of the kapok cover. Purely natural and harmless.
