"A really nice, dimensionally stable nursing pillow, which I am currently using for the first time as a side sleeper pillow. In a few months it will also serve as a nursing pillow. The cover feels good, and there was no plastic in the delivery at all."

"I use it for the pregnancy massage in my practice. The expectant mothers like to use it. It is easy to care for by airing it out in the sun. With the accompanying cotton covers it is ideal for my purposes as I can wash them with hot water without them warping. I have been using it for 1.5 years and it is still great."
XXL nursing pillow: 100% pure natural product
The Minky Mooh nursing and positioning pillow made of organic cotton with natural kapok filling supports you and your child during your pregnancy and after birth. While many nursing pillows are only filled with polystyrene, EPS or polyester, we offer you a pregnancy pillow made of natural and organically certified materials. Our nursing pillow is a natural premium product. This means that we only use certified organic cotton and kapok from wild trees and do not use any chemical additives or pollutants. This means that the material is free from fertilizers and pesticides.
Practical nursing pillow & versatile
The Minky Mooh organic nursing pillow is versatile: Even during pregnancy, it supports you when sitting, lying down and sleeping, e.g. as a side sleeper pillow. After the birth, it helps you and your baby when breastfeeding or giving a bottle by relieving the strain on your arms, shoulders and back. You can also tie the nursing pillow together at both ends with two ribbons, creating a cozy baby nest and allowing your little one to sleep safely.
Nursing pillow with natural kapok filling
Our kapok fibers come from wild kapok trees, which contain fine, cotton-like hairs in their 25-30 cm long fruits. These hairs are silky and shiny and covered with a fine layer of wax, are water-repellent and cannot be spun. The kapok fibers trap a lot of air, which makes them very soft and fluffy. At the same time, the wax layer and the fullness ensure that moisture is directed outwards and no moisture builds up.
Thanks to its breathability and warmth, the organic nursing pillow is suitable for every season. Kapok also has self-cleaning properties: the fibers contain a natural bitter substance and have an anti-allergic effect, preventing the spread of mites. Ideal for sensitive mothers and babies.
You can vary the kapok filling thanks to the zipper on the outer edge and remove some or add new ones as needed. We even have replacement kapok filling in our range.
size of our nursing pillow
The nursing pillow has a length of 190 cm , measured at the outer seam. With its comfortable thickness of approx. 30 cm, it offers optimal support when breastfeeding, relaxing or as a positioning pillow during pregnancy. The generous size allows both mother and baby to be comfortably supported and ensures maximum relief during breastfeeding.
Easy-care nursing pillow with interchangeable covers
We have a range of different covers for the nursing pillow. There are knitted covers and a percale cover in natural cream. If you would like to find out more about the differences between percale and knitted covers , then take a look here . For your baby's health, it is important that the cover is cleaned regularly. It can be hygienically cleaned at 40°C in the washing machine. Practical : While you are washing a cover, you can put on one of our replacement covers .

Frequently asked questions about the nursing pillow
What types of nursing pillows are there?
- U-shape: Our XXL nursing pillow has this U-shape and is 190 cm long, making it ideal for various nursing positions. You can also use it to form a baby nest.
- American: This pillow is smaller and curved similarly to the U-shape. Its shape stability and compact size make it a great companion for on the go.
- Half-moon shape: A half-moon shaped nursing pillow is an intermediate size and slightly smaller than the U-shape, but larger than an American nursing pillow. It is only slightly curved and easy to handle.
- C-shape: Compared to the U-shape, the ends of a C-shaped nursing pillow are bent more inwards. The pillows are suitable for many nursing positions and serve as a barrier, e.g. in bed to prevent falling out. C-shaped nursing pillows are often 150 to 200 cm long.
What should I look for when buying a nursing pillow?
- A soft and comfortable cover
- A natural pillow filling, e.g. kapok
- The right size for mom and child
- Appearance and size must match the intended use and breastfeeding position
How to use a nursing pillow for breastfeeding correctly?
Sit on a chair, armchair or sofa and place the pillow in front of you so that the curve is around your stomach and under your chest. You can lay your baby flat on the pillow directly in front of you or to your side. Try out which breastfeeding position you and your baby like best.
How do I properly care for my nursing pillow?
If you choose a Minky Mooh nursing pillow, you can wash the cotton covers at 30°C (knitted cover) and 60°C (percale cover). The kapok filling, however, must not be washed. It is enough to air it out in the sun and shake it up again so that it becomes really fluffy again.
How important is certification for nursing pillows?
Many baby products can contain harmful substances that have a negative impact on the development of the immune and nervous systems, and can promote the development of allergies and susceptibility to infections. Since your baby comes into contact with the nursing pillow, it is important that you pay attention to certifications that confirm that all materials have been tested for harmful substances. Our textiles are tested and certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and GOTS.
Where are the nursing pillows produced?
Our Minky Mooh nursing pillows are made in Germany with the utmost care and to the highest quality standards. Each nursing pillow is filled by hand and processed with great attention to detail to ensure that it offers the ideal support for mothers and babies. The filling is made from 100% natural kapok , which comes from wild trees. This environmentally friendly material is obtained without the use of chemicals and processed using a gentle process.
Our covers are made of GOTS-certified organic cotton , which is manufactured in Turkey under fair and environmentally friendly conditions. Through the careful selection of our materials and the artisanal production in Germany, we ensure that every nursing pillow is not only sustainable, but also safe and comfortable for you and your baby. From the selection of materials to the final production, we attach great importance to creating a product that meets the highest standards and offers you optimal comfort during your pregnancy and breastfeeding.
care instructions
Care instructions for the covers: The knitted covers can be washed in the washing machine at 30°C, the percale cover at 60°C. You can also wash the ticking at 30°C. The kapok must be removed first.
Care instructions for the kapok: The natural kapok filling of the nursing pillow must not be washed in the washing machine or with water. Otherwise, water and detergent would wash the natural wax layer out of the fibers, causing the kapok to clump and lose volume and coziness. The pillow would become unusable. The natural bitter substances that make the kapok allergy-friendly are also lost. Airing it out in the sun is sufficient to clean it.
